Alexie Bolton is the pen-name of Dawn Bolton. Dawn worked in higher education teaching law and economics. She is also a linguist. She tutors adults and children and runs a guesthouse in Knowle in England. She lives with her husband and two crazy Birman cats in a cottage near a canal. She also writes romantic suspense/crime novels under the name of Toni Bolton. Many of her books are inspired by the cases she studied when she taught law at the University of Central England in Birmingham and her history degree. She is an amateur artist and illustrates some of her own covers. She enjoys Zumba, yoga and skiing. She has been restoring an old house and intends to caravan around Europe when it is completed this year. She writes romantic suspense and crime novels under the name of Toni Bolton.
