This is a translation of the original French book, “Dieu ex Nihilo”. Starting with the question “Does God exist?”, the author demonstrates that God’s attributes are based on representations incompatible with the notion of creation ex nihilo, leading to what he calls the paradox of creation. After examining how theologians and some authors attempt to circumvent this paradox, he presents atheism for what it is and what it is not.
