Men have the opportunity to become a source (starting point for themselves and others) of strength and substance. As Jesus was the head of the church, the Apostle Paul used the word “Kefele” which is a Greek term for “source” and “head”.Jesus was not only the head of the church but its source, because He came to serve and not be served.If men will enter into a relationship with Jesus, they too, can become a source of strength and substance, and grow strong and sturdy like an oak tree with strong roots based in integrity, honesty, courage, and service to themselves, their families, their relationships, their careers.The Oak Tree Source is my story attached to what I believe is God’s revelation of what male masculinity inspired by the life ofJesus should be.
